WHAT IS VIRTUALTX?
VirtualTx, powered by RemoteSpeech, is a cloud-based web application software and web portal developed as a “one-stop-shop” for service management and delivery of speech therapy. VirtualTx includes a multi-user interface with integrated features that are user-friendly, including Scheduling, a Live Chat Interface, Materials Library, Billing, and Cloud Storage for Notes and Reports.
VirtualTx uses zoom webinar integration, with security features that are in compliance with HIPPA regulations.
Users can access VirtualTx with any device and internet connection – through a laptop or tablet is recommended for an optimal therapy experience.
WHY WAS VIRTUALTX CREATED?
VirtualTx was developed to address the needs for remote therapy, using the pioneering strategies for telepractice developed by RemoteSpeech from 20+ years of operation.

Covid 19 affected every person and business, and the world of Speech-Language Pathology was no exception. As Patients, Parents, and School Districts began the transition to “virtual” treatment, RemoteSpeech was able to provide their resources with a 5+ year headstart in telepractice. However, transitioning to “remote” treatments was just the beginning as operational challenges soon became apparent within the first weeks of Covid. Research has found that pre-Covid in 2019, over 350,000 students in the United States alone were without access to therapy that have mandated services owed to them. Additionally, a national shortage of certified Speech-Lanaguage Pathologists and a low student reach emerged as substantial challenges. Resources for quality therapy sessions were highly inadequate, billing processes were cumbersome, the ability to vet quality service providers and to provide quality therapy using adaptive learning was at the forefront of transitioning to virtual therapy.
